About

Alex is a current student at Millard West High School in Omaha, Nebraska, as the class of 2027. He has worked on over 15 productions as a lighting technician at Millard West and around the community, including at Bellevue Little Theatre and Circle Theater. 

In 2025, Alex designed for Little Women on the International Thespian Festival mainstage, the second show in Nebraska to be sent in decades. Later that year, he designed Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 as a part of the first school in the region to perform it. In 2026, Alex designed lighting for the world premiere of From Thomas, With Love by Charlotte Fox.

At the 2026 Nebraska State Thespian Festival, Alex recieved a Superior Thespy for his designs for Les Misérables. In May, he was awarded an Outstanding Lighting Design award for Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812. He was later awarded the Princess Grace Kelley Training Scholarship for his work on both shows.

Alex is also the current Lighting Designer for Millard West Orchestras, designing concert looks to fit the director's vision of the song.
